I have been using my ff800 for a few years now. My computer is old and slow. I could not find a pc with a firewire,So I bought  a new 2T Lenovo i5 12gb ram windows 7. After looking at the forums and reading about that I bought a SIIG firewire 2-port PCIe from sweetwater. I plan on installing that tonite.
I remember struggling with the installation and getting the FF to work. Can anyone suggest a smooth path to installing it on the new PC?
will I have to do a complete new set up and start all over with all the settings? Is there a way to keep the settings I have now and just transfer them over?
Sorry I'm not much of a computer guy and I'm kind of dreading this, any help is appreciated.
