Just got my UFX, and had a white screen on power up. I can't get anything to display. I have the latest firmware installed (USB 352, Firmware 151, Firewire 341) and windows driver 1.025. Is there some secret to getting the display to show something or is the unit faulty?
Have you tried Totalmix? and did that display OK?
Hi rAC, Good to see you over here. Total Mix seems to be working fine. Audio is coming out fine (though have to set buffer pretty high with my slate), just nothing on the UFX's screen.
Just an update on this, in case someone has the same problem. RME believes the ribbon cable to the screen was loose, so it's gone into a tech, under warranty, for a fix. Hopefully have it back soon.
Puppeteer was that the diagnosis after you got it back from the tech? I'm interested as mine has shown a white screen on turn on twice this week and if it recurs I might need to do something about it.
I think it was just the ribbon. Was a quick and easy fix, and didn't require parts
