Topic: Babyface Snow edition RCA to XLR phantom power problem.

Hi,

My friend has a Babyface Snow edition with "Babyface: ALVA Analog breakout cable, unbalanced" breakout cable.

He wants attach a condenser to it but he has difficulty to send phantom power to the mic.

Is this wirig diagram ok or somthing different required?

A condenser needs a balanced connection with +48V on both live pins. He needs to get the balanced breakout cable for the Babyface with XLR. And IMHO that one was included in the package.

I thik he gets this package: http://www.rme-audio.de/products_snow_edition.php ,therefore he has wehit one unballanced breakout.

Both the german and english page say that the black XLR breakout cable is included. :roll

He managed to work mics phantom power with unballanced type wiring. Thanks anyways.
