I have a Multiface I with an PCI-Card installed with driver version 3.085 on Windows 7.
I have not made the firmware upgrade because the multiface must be available tommorow and he have the possibility of tolling back to windows xp where the multiface works properly.

The multiface is recognized by the system and the mixed and dsp-application can be executed. The dsp-application shows „RME Hammerfal DSP Hardware Missmatch“ and tells me to upgrade firmware.

There is sound but the sound coming out of the multiface is not correct.

So here my questions:

Will the multiface and PCI-Card work on windows 7?
Is 3.085 the correct driver version or do I need a newer driver (which?)?
Which FUT do I need to upgrade firmware? https://archiv.rme-audio.de/download/fut_wdm_dsp.zip?
Is the firmware update risky, means ca I destroy the PCI-card? I have hardware Revision 11.
Will the PCI-card still work on Windows XP after upgrading firmware?
