Topic: problem with HDSP Multiface 1

Hi !
I've got problem with RME. All worked good but at recently I've got a problem. When i turn off PC and then immediately turn on it, i see red light on RME (error) and the hardware is not active, so I can't work. Also RME icons (mixer and settings) on the desktop of my PC is not active. But when i turn on my PC after 15-20 mins all is working perfect.I thought it because of power but now i have external power but the problem remained.
any ideas?

Setup:
Core i7 950, ASUS P6T Deluxe v2, Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64bit.

regards,

Stepan

It would help to tell us which "RME" you are referring to exactly. Is the MF connected to a PCI card or is it the newer PCIe card?

Re: problem with HDSP Multiface 1

Which revision of the HDSP PCI card is that? Printed in white on the PCB.

Re: problem with HDSP Multiface 1

I expect a hardware incompatibility between this quite old HDSP PCI card and the quite new motherboard. The final solution might be to get a new HDSP PCI card. Nothing else you can do, sorry.

Or even better, a PCIe version that will work with this and future computers.

Re: problem with HDSP Multiface 1

Thanks... But  is it possible to do crossgrade to HDSPe PCI card or new HDSP PCI card (with surcharge and something)?

Re: problem with HDSP Multiface 1

Sorry, no... Best to sell the PCI card privately...
