Topic: Babyface recording

Hello, i have babyface about week, and glad to hear music with it.
But i want to record my synth, and connect it by midi cable, but babyface always records only left channel, and right veeery silenece.
I did many - try another stereo cable, install asia4all drive, but it records only left channel!
Then i play on my synth - sound comes from BOTH channels, but then i press record in any program (like Soundforge, Ableton) - sound still comes from both channel, and wrirte only left!

what i am gonna do?

Re: Babyface recording

When your synth is playing you can see the left and right signals in the TotalMix peakmeters of the analog inputs 1/2 in the first row?

best regards
Knut

Re: Babyface recording

Based on the screenshots you have two good signals in TotalMix. This means a proper configurated Soundforge should get the incoming signal also on the right channel. How is the panning of An2? I cannot see it in the trim view.

best regards
Knut

Re: Babyface recording

Problem was delete, by re-install rme driver, thanks!

Now i have only one - errors in midi connection,  synth plays normal few loops, then plays not from music, not in time, then in few seconds playing normal again.. It is Ok to record only short samples..

Can it be, about slow usb 2.0 port? It is on motherboard and its too old
