Hi,

I have been the happy owner of this fireface 400 for more than 5 years. Unfortunatly I have started noticing problems with the rear Jack Outputs.

On outputs number 1, 3 and 5 I often get a lower volume than on the right side.

But most of all I get a crackling sound and no High Frequencies.  This lasts a few seconds then all is back to normal. It is an intermittent problem.

So my first reaction was to think the tweeter of my monitor speakers was dying on me. But now I tried on some other speakers and I get the same problem.

Also last week end I was doing a live gig and also noticed the left output was lower when feeding the analog mixer with my test tones to EQ the concert hall. Tried a normal CD player and it was working fine so it is definatly the Fireface fault.

Now I am out of warranty of course. What should I do in my case to have it serviced? I originaly bought the unit in the UK but now reside in Paris, France.
