Hi,
It would be very useful to have DC follow the sample rate of the current audio stream instead of locking the sample rate.
Many times I've done some 96Khz project mixing with DC running(also at 96Khz...) and later done some 48Khz mixing/recording and opened DC just to have DC running at 96Khz while the project is 48Khz.

It works like that under Windows. What is your exact configuration?
My computer setup:

-Cubase 5
-ASUS P6Tse
-Intel i7 920
-6Gb RAM
-GF9400gt
-UAD1
-RME HDSP PCIx2
Most probably you overlooked the option to not set the DC sample rate (uncheck it) in the F3 dialog.
