Topic: a couple Fireface inputs gone bad

I posted about 2 years ago about this. The post seems to have expired or something, or I can't find it. Anyway...

I've got a Fireface 800 all up-to-date, use it everyday. Only problem is that inputs 3 & 4 just have digital noise and spikes. The only way to get the inputs to work properly is to use super high sampling rate.

I had been just muting the inputs and working around it for a while now, but I have a configuration I'd like to switch to, that requires all the IO. SO now I'm looking again to see if anyone has any experience with this problem or with repairs through RME.

Our data base indeed says you made two posts, yet there is only one (this one). Might have got lost during a crash that we had a short time ago.

Please contact your local distributor about repair.
