Topic: FF800 midi out

Hi guys. This might seem like a noob question. Forgive me ok. How do you use the midi out on the fireface 800? If I have a midi controller playing notes and controlling my daw, would the note information be retransmitted through the ff800? If not, what other uses can the midi out have?

MIDI In is not retransmitted. The MIDI out allows you to send recorded MIDI notes to an external synth, send MIDI control data to a device, etc.

Thanks for the reply Jeff. Ok, I got it, that's the function of MIDI thru. Seeing as this is the case, what function does the midi out serve on the FF800? Is it for devices like the bcf2000 and the midi out data causes the faders to move?
