Topic: Windows 7 SP1 (Feb 16th MSDN/Technet) (Feb 22 for the general public)

Have the current drivers been tested with SP1?  Or do we wait?

It's quite likely that I will install the Service Pack as soon as it comes out at least. wink

SP1 includes only hotfixes that were available before and have been tested. Therefore you can be sure that it will not decrease the current performance.

Not wanting to create another thread in the firewire forum...

Is the Legacy Firewire driver still recommended after installing SP1?

Oh I've had it sitting waiting to be installed for a while.  Better safe than sorry, plus Microsoft just yesterday released a fix that fixes the SP1 install from blue screening in certain circumstances.

I actually installed in on my main machine with the UC an hour ago and all is well so far.
