Topic: Babyface: protective cover over led levelmeter?

Hi smile

Are the covers over the leds removable?

it looks like my BF has some kind of scratch proof covers over the leds and the bottom two yellow leds are missing. (judging from the pictures on site)

can i safely remove these covers?

You can't remove the "covers", and the yellow LEDs are not missing. These light up when 48v phantom power is active on the preamps.

i did nearly rip mine out though yikes tongue - thought i'd get a second opinion b4 pulling harder...heh..

overall: well, its got glasses on, the nabelschnur is attached, the training bike wheel could be better. but- its technically superb, it sounds great and thats just what i was looking for=) - oh, and its a RME smile)
