Does anyone know if firewire 800 is less prone to hot swapping problems?  I have a MacBook Pro (which has firewire 800 only) and both the firewire 800 and 400 (which I use with an 400-800 adapter.)  I know that RME warned against hot swapping with Firewire 400 because you could get a short and toast the firewire chip.  Is it the same with Firewire 800?
