This problem has started recently and is happening all the time now.

Windows 7, FF400.

I am ether watching a movie using VLC or listening to music in Winamp and for no apparent reason the audio playback will stop and the speakers will start emitting a high pitch tone. I have to turn off the fireface and turn it back on, then it inevitably happens again.

Please provide support via a link to this problems resolution, or via direct help in this message.

ps. has anything happened to the RME quality control. I used to own a Fireface 800 with no problems ever. This newer fireface 400 had totally corroded internals which were replaced under warranty and I have had intermittent problems ever since.
