Topic: Will HDSP 9652 work with Win 7x64

I am trying to upgrade my system to Win 7x64, but my existing original RME Hammerfall digi9652 card is not longer supported by RME and my understanding is that there are no drivers for Win 7x64. So, even though I do not need a new card, I am considering purchasing a used HDSP 9652 if it will work with Win 7x64. Will this card:

work with a 64 bit system, and are there current drivers for download that will work?

Yes. You can download drivers for Windows 7/Vista/XP 32/64 bit here: http://www.rme-audio.de/drivers_hdsp.

Am I correct in my assumption that I am out of luck in being able to use my original Hammerfall 9652 in Win 7x64? Or is there any work around that you know about. The card works perfectly in XP and does everything I need from it. I hate to have to throw it out and purchase a new one, if there is another workable option.

Do you use an AEB 4-O with your digi? Because my card(HDSP 9652) has been identified by Win 7 64bit but I am definitely not getting any type of sound out from the device, and it worked recently in my XP rig. I've been trying several configs throughout the week and i'm starting to think its just not going to work.

Digi 9652 is indeed not compatible with any 64-bit OS.
