Topic: Samplerate conversion in Digicheck Record?

Hello,

we have recorded some time ago a gig (>30 channels) and now I am importing the files into Cubase and have some questions regarding the samplerate. We have recorded it with Digicheck  and I am not sure at what samplerate (44.1 or 48 kHz). Now I converted the files into stereofiles with DC yesterday the first part and today the second. Imported in Cubase I recognized a change in pitch from the first recording to the next. I looked in the pool and there it says that one is 44.1 and the other 48 kHz. So my question is:
When I load a Recording into DC to transform the file into normal wavs in which way is the actual samplerate given at this moment influencing this file-conversion process? Is there a difference in behaviour regarding a connected or not connected RME soundcard during this process (with different set clock than during recording)?

With best regards

Re: Samplerate conversion in Digicheck Record?

The export function reads the sample rate stored in the file and writes it into the split files. No change is performed.

Thanks for clarification. Maybe this topic is worth a sentence in the manual?
