Topic: Are there knob quality issues with the fireface?

Hi.  The Fireface seems like a quality unit, and I am tempted to buy one.  I do have a reservation.  I have heard that the knob is held on with flimsy plastic, and is prone to breaking.  I'm sure it won't break right away, but I'm worried it might at some later time, after the unit is no longer on warranty.

What are your thoughts on the alleged "knob issue"?

If the knob does break, can it easily be replaced by me (i.e., putting a generic control knob on the potentiometer, or whatever else it's connected to), or will it require major service?

Are there plans to revise the knob design in later versions of the device?

Aside from this one issue, the Fireface seems like a great product.
