Topic: Connecting two headphones to HDSP9632

Hello,

what would be the best possible scenario to connect two headphones at the same time without degrading the level of the signal?

I have both connector sets for my HDSP card - non balanced and ballanced (which i bought seperately). Each of them has a headphones out. Should i connect both connector sets so i get two headphone outs at the same time? Will signal level not be reduced that way?

Thank you,
Marionetti

You can't connect both breakout cables. Best solution here is an external headphone amp. Or a DA converter with headphone out, e.g. ADI-2.

hmm, and since my line-outs are already taken ang go to SPL VOLUME 2 and then to active sub+speakers, would i be able to get the signal to headphone preamp by using any of those two outs which are covered with the black plastic? (optical or something, havent checked yet)

Re: Connecting two headphones to HDSP9632

You would need a headphone amp with digital input then.
