Topic: OSX volume-control controls TotalMix's panoroma instead of faders...

Hi!

does anyone have an idea why my OSX volume-control controls TotalMix's panorama instead of the
normal associated faders? I find it quite tricky to understand OSX volume-control (MIDI Setup) and
TotalMix working together... it looks so easy but it has technical depth one can't just imagine! :-)

Here a picture of the setup..

Thanks for any hints!

Re: OSX volume-control controls TotalMix's panoroma instead of faders...

Looks like you run into two simple problems:

- Mac OS X volume control is mono, but the Hardware Outputs of TM FX are stereo. So when changing the volume only one channel changes, which equals a change of the pan.

- According to your screenshot you assigned the main output to channels 1 and 6, instead of channels 1/2 etc. That calls for double trouble, of course.

- In case you did this intentionally (blue fader group), to change both faders simultaneously: good idea, and should work with the next version of TM FX which has mono Hardware Outputs.

Thanks for the hints. Somehow - dont know why - i got it managed that the fader now moves while staying on channel 1 and 6 ... very strange... but anyway quite good! :-)
