Topic: electric shock

So heres what happened: I plugged my headphones in to the soundcard and got an electric shock and the SIG light is flickering on channel 2 and now I have fuzz coming out of my right monitor..  Has anyone experienced this.  Have i cooked my soundcard? Is this fixable?  Thanks for your help.

The weird thing is that i'm only hearing a bit of fuzz, while ableton is open and with my buss compression group channels active... other than that, everything sounds fine. 


I can play the track back after its exported, and it sounds crystal clear..  so I'm wondering if its ableton related or what, but how would a static shock cause ableton to malfunction??

Please, if anybody has any thoughts on this, it would be extremely helpful.. 

Also, if I cant fix this myself, I will have to ship it in to get fixed.. so I'm wondering if someone could tell me what the turnaround time is for this sort of thing.. shipping from Canada.   Thanks
