Topic: HDSPe PCI, Rev 1.2, no:23195630 <and> Multiface 2 ?

Hello

Background
Today, I bought HDSPe PCI and Multiface 2 from Digital Village in London.

I found an orange paper in the box containing the HDSPe PCI Box, which said, "The Multiface 2 has a higher power consumption than the original multiface. Therefore the Multiface 2 will only work with a HDSP card revision 1.9 or higher"

The Orange paper at the bottom said: Copyright RME 07/2005
Was it referring to some 'revision 1.9' of the older HDSP PCI card which went in the old PCI slot?

Did the newer HDSPe cards start back to 1.0 when they were first released?

Question
My card is the newer type of card: HDSPe PCI, and it says "Rev 1.2" on the circuit board.
And its serial number is 23195630

Does it have the more powerful voltage regulator that the Multiface 2 needs? So that I may commence to install.
Or do I need to take it back to the shop to replace the card?

I hope I have provided enough information.

Best wishes
Glyn

The information on the leaflet only applies to PCI cards, not PCIe.
