Topic: HDSPe 32 aes - no output

Hello, I recently installed an RME HDSpe aes card in a new win7 64x build. I seem to have no output. I have run the flash update tool which shows a successful update, and I have installed the latest driver. The totalmix app shows a normal level for the correct output channels, but no sound. So I'm trying to trouble shoot this and my question is, - since the totalmix software shows an appropriate output level, does this entirely rule out ITB problems such as the card, drivers etc? Thanks in advance.

Re: HDSPe 32 aes - no output

I should elaborate. I have the HDSPe 32 aes card connected to the BOB 32 via two db25\db25 cables. I ordered Tascam pinout cables. Should these cables have the flipped pins where ins go to outs, or all pins straight thru and they are are flipped inside the BOB 32? Thanks in advance.

Yes.

Flipped, of course.

Thank for the response. I believe improper cabling will prove to be the issue.
