Topic: MultiFace II + HDSPe + Pci-e to Express Card Adaptor - Possible?

Hi all

I have seen this solution mentioned before in this forum , searched but couldn't find anything.
Does this work - Theoretically it should :
MultiFace II + HDSPe plugged into a Pci-e to Express Card Adaptor in a PC/Mac Pro tower
I understand a PCI to Express Card Adaptor won't work but a Pci-e to Express Card Adaptor should.
Anyone used this successfully?

I have the RME Multiface II + Laptop Express Card and I'd like to use it in my desktop!

Re: MultiFace II + HDSPe + Pci-e to Express Card Adaptor - Possible?

Hello I'm running my express card with such an adapter. It works fine but it doesn't work with all mainboards. I had an Gigabyte 890GPA-UD3H and it didn't worked. Now I've got an intel based Asus p6t se and it works just fine. So it is a bit of luck but in most of the cases it should work because express card and pciexpress are (mostly) the same wink. Just try it.
