Topic: Preamps and AD converters on UFX vs UC

Hi,

Curious if anyone has thoughts on whether the preamps and AD converters are significantly better on the UFX vs. the UC? I know there are other features on the UFX that make it more attractive than the UC, but I am mainly curious about those areas.

Thoughts?

The difference is huge. The UC is like a 720p HD LCD TV whereas the UFX is like a 3D-Full HD 1080p LED TV.

At least that's what I feel, having compared them side by side.................

I just got my UFX two days ago, and haven't even HEARD it yet. Though I normally run my bass through a Focusrite Voicemaster pro or ART Pro MPA for DI in the studio, last night I got around to trying some stuff and I plugged my 4string fretless into the UFX Ch 9 (and out via analogue into the Focusrite's usual output cable), grabbed a stock compressor and EQ setting in Totalmix and played. I nearly fell off my chair. Really clear and tight, with lots of bass in the right proportions. I'm already happy, and I have yet to actually USE the thing! yikes)
