Topic: 2 Fireface 400 to one computer

Hi!

I've got one Fireface 400 and a friend of mine also got one. Is it possible to use them both while recording to Logic on my MacBook Pro?

In the sound settings on osx I can combine two soundcards to a one, but does the Fireface Settings / Fireface Mixer supports all the
multiple channels or just the channels from one of the soundcards?

I think the Fireface 400's have to be in sync to use together.

Hi Simon,

Yes, TotalMix will recognize both Fireface 400 devices when properly connected and sync'ed. Please read Section 22 on page 45 of your Fireface 400 Manual for more info. The TotalMix tutorial video at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=splW9OtTBYw is also recommended for additional tips.
