Topic: RME HDSP 9652 as Master Clock

Hi,

I am using RME HDSP 9652 sound card with Yamaha 02R mixer. I have set RME 9652 as master and Yamaha 02R as slave. I use Cubase 5 software.

(1) I would like to know that if I can use the above setup as master/slave. Do I need another Master word clock and these two as slave? I have above 2 digital equips. Will it differ or any advantage by setting
master word clock to both of these?

(2) I am using 9652 master, 02R slave. What would be the best configuration for stability and optimum sound quality in recording.

No problem with this setup. Either one can be master, should not make much difference either way.
