Topic: win7 new driver installation failed

Hello to all

I have a HSDPe AIO and wanted to update to improved driver Version 3.2.1

I have chosen the driver update function in device manager, but the system told me, the current drivers 3.0.8 are the best choice for the card. I couldn't update to 3.2.1

I deleted the drivers via device manager. Afterwards the card was not recognized anymore. Maybe that was wrong.

So i removed the card, started Windows 7, closed down the computer, built the card in again, and now the card still won't be automatically recognized as HDSPe AIO by win 7

In device manager the card shows up as 'audiocontroller for multimedia' and the new drivers do not match and activate the card.

Is this a known problem? Do i have to delete some entries ?

The card is definitly not defect, i have two of them. In an other computer the card works properly.

some suggestions on a sunday morning?

Thnks in advance

Re: win7 new driver installation failed

Okay...

meanwhile all registry entries with RME deletetd. especially hdsp settings

the card still  shows up as an audiocontroller for multimedia and both drivers 3.0.8 and 3.2.1 are not suitable in the device manager.

keeps me alive this issue no audiocard in my computer

any ideas what would make windows7 recognize the card correct in the forum?

thks
