Topic: Question about PCI Card and PCI Express card

I have questions about PCI Card.
I have bought Multiface 2 with ExpressCard to connect laptop until now but I'm gonna use desktop since my laptop is too old. I've found PCI card and PCI Express Card.
Could you tell me what difference between PCI card and PCI Express card.
Also I've found some IEEE1394b PCI card which is much cheaper than PCI card from RME. Coud you answer me what difference these are.

They connect to different slot types on mainboards... They work the same way, though.

Also I've found some IEEE1394b PCI card which is much cheaper than PCI card from RME. Coud you answer me what difference these are.

The RME cards are not Firewire. The MF 2 can not be connected to Firewire.

If you connect the Multiface to a regular Firewire interface card you are going to destroy the Multiface or both....
