Topic: FireFace 800 driver problem with Windows 7 Professional

When I first purchased the RME FireFace, it seemed to work fine. Since last week, I have been having lots of driver issues and that prohibits my software, ProTools RE-Wired to Record, from working properly.
I now get "the blue screen of death" with this latest driver upgrade available on 12-10-2010.Besides, forced reboots,  I constantly have to reload the driver and that only lasts for about a day or 2 if that long. Is there a new driver being written for this machine that will be more reliable? Windows, in fact, is a killa at times and doesn't play nice with some drivers. Help!!!!!!!!!!!

BSODs and the need to reload the driver mean there is something broken. From FW cable to the FF itself you will have to check everything.
