Topic: Fireface UFX: AD/DA Converter Chips

Being an audio-electronics "hobbyist" and strongly considering to buy the UFX (for Audio DA, Loudspeaker measurements, audio electronics measurements), I'm curious which chips you have selected for the UFX.
From one review I learned, that the
- Microphone amplifier chips are PGA2500 (TI)
- AD converter (all inputs?) are CS5368 (Cirrus) , 2 converters each channel

I did not come across the "name" of the DA converter --> Is it possible to unveil this?

I'm fully aware that sound is not at all just about "converter chips". You have to pay attention to a lot of details in order to get a good sound out of a good converter.... And I appreciate RME obviously has done a very good job
;-)

Any news on this?

Well, from what I found elsewhere the DA chip is from TI: PCM4104

As far as I've seen, the "double AD converter topology" (1x CS5368 for 4 inputs) is present for the front inputs only. This is reflected in the SNR being 2dB better for the front inputs.
