Topic: TotalMix LoopBack does not work with Madiface

Hi I need help in another strange behavior of TotalMix

The Loopback funktion in TotalMix doesn´t work with my Madiface, but with my Digiface it works how it should work.

With my Digiface when I am able to rout a hardware output back to the input (first row of TotalMix) and the input meter shows the output signal.

When I do the same thing with my Madiface there is no signal in the input.

This is explained in the manual. The signal is in neither case going into the mixer, so no level should be visible.

Thanks for advice Mr. Carstens,

it works as you described. I was a little bit confused, because the Digifaces behavior is different to the Madifaces behavior, although the circuit diagrams are the same in the manuals. In Digifaces TotalMix I see the loopbacked signal in the input meter. Maybe the diagram shown in the Digiface manual is not correct.

I would be very happy if you give me an advice with my Midi Remote problem, described in my second question in the forum.
