Topic: HDSPe AIO with AO4S 192 not recognized

Just purchased HDSPe AIO & AO4S 192.  Upon installing driver ver. 2.77 and flash rev.10 for AIO, total mix does not recognize / see the second card (AO4S 192).  As well, in flash tool updater 'card 2' button is greyed-out.   My system Mac Pro 2 x 2.4 quad core / 20gig ram / ATI radeon 5750.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Rich.

Hi,

don't the extra channels appear in the HDSP mixer?

Re: HDSPe AIO with AO4S 192 not recognized

I still only have AN 1/2 in total mix.  Should I not also see more analogue outputs?  ie: AN 3/4, 5/6... that represent the AO4s.  On the hardware output row from left to right I see: AN 1/2 - PH L/R - AES L/R - SP L/R and A 1-8.

Thanks,
Rich

Sounds like you got an old AO4S-192 (for the 9632), not the newer one for the AIO (AO4S-192 AIO). Otherwise you would see those output channels.

Re: HDSPe AIO with AO4S 192 not recognized

What do you advise I should do about this?  Contact the reseller here in Canada, or...?  BTW I plugged it into a 9632 I have in an old Mac PPC and the additional analogue outputs showed up right away.  You were correct.  I definitely have the AO4S 192 for PCI not PCIe which is what I need.
