Topic: Issues Loading Fireface UC with Cubase 5

Hi All,

No sure if anyone here can assist with this, but I have a problem with launching Cubase 5 when my sound card (RME Fireface UC) is set to a 48Khz Sample Rate. Whenever the card
is set with the higher sample rate, the program IMMEDIATELY crashes at startup. In addition, when I relaunch the application, all my VST preferences are lost, and it takes Cubase
forever to reload.

This only seems to happen when it is set to 48Khz, it launches fine when the card is set to 44.1Khz. Once the program has launched, I can change the project settings back to 48Khz, but
this is really annoying, since I have to remember to do this everytime before I launch Cubase.

Has anyone else ever come across this issue? Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,
Timo
