Topic: Babyface Phantom Power current

Hello.

How many milliamps can the preamps supply per channel?

I'm considering using a MXL 2003a which needs 6.6mA.

The BF is giving full phantom power no matter what is connected. So don't worry.

Thanks MC. So does that mean it can provide up to 10mA per channel?

It can provide the theoretical 14 mA per input (short circuit).
