I was hoping to try out a Bootcamp partition and hopefully get Digicheck record working on the windows side. I have some upcoming gigs that might benefit from this capability. Not super high track counts (8-10).

I hope to have a sort of windows "dumb terminal" that just records and plays back HQ audio, reliably.
I would be relatively new to the windows side of tweaking. Any suggestions as to the best resources for tips and tricks?

Doesn't have to do video or surf the net but can download drivers etc.

Is bootcamp the best choice, over Parallels or other virtual machine?
