Topic: Fireface 800..Time Machine .

Hi,
When I turn on my external hard drive for Time Machine .. red light comes on the FF 800 .. is warning of a problem?.
Mac Pro + Snow Leopard 10.6.7
RME FF 800 driver 2.91.

It means FW transmission is interrupted, is this external drive on FW as well?

Not a bug. Just use the drive via USB instead.

Lacie External Hard Drive Firewire 800 ... because I have to plug in USB ... quickly lose it?

Every time you add another FW device the whole bus (every unit on it) is reset. That's a law.
