sorry if this question sounds too "noobish" but i don't have any experience with adat...

is it possible to connect a multiface1 with the babyface with just an adat cable so that i'd have eight extra analog in/outs?
if so, do i just need to power the multiface or do i also need to connect it with my computer via the express card?
