Topic: Studer MADI

Can somebody please confirm that the model ADI-6432R BNC can cope with a MADI stream being sent from a Studer Route 6000 as Studer is not listed on the web site as an accepted signal.

Secondly is there a distributor in the UK, or better still in the Middle East, preferably Oman. If so can you let me know the contact details.

Hello,

MADI is MADI, there should be no issues. Studer is not using proprietary formats.

Thank you very much for your help.

I would just like to inform you that I have come across MADI issues in the past where a Euphonix desk could not understand a MADI signal sent from an SSL desk and vice versa. I do not know whose MADI stream was wrong but we had to use a RME unit to enable them to talk to each other.

Ok, these things do happen... Let's say I'm not aware of specific issues with Studer.
