Topic: Feature request for FF800 and UFX prioritized sync

Hi,

Maybe not the right place, but there is one feature that would be particularly useful for me and maybe others. Here goes.
Say you have a setup with many digital devices, like one FF800 and one UFX in addition to external adat a/d d/a converters. Typically you set this up with one master, for instance the UFX (master) with a word clock to the FF800 and from FF800 to the adat interfaces. Now this works perfectly when all the units are on.
Since the UFX and FF800 are connected to different hosts, there might be situations where the UFX is not on. Then the autosync feature will look for a sync signal and it will find the adat input and try to sync with that. However, the adat is synced by the wordclock output and then all sorts of strange behavior and noises occurs because it is a sync loop behavior.
What if autosync could have a prioritized sync. For example. Sync to word clock, if word clock is not available go to internal instead of trying the rest. This could an option instead of jumping on the next clock signal?

Good idea, it could save some time in certain scenarios
