Topic: Babyface and Google Voice Chat.

Hi all,

Today I tried, for the first time, to get my Babyface to work with Google Voice chat and didn't have any luck - neither side could hear each other. I had to finally switch to my Macbook Pro's internal sound to make my call. My mic was plugged into input 2, if that matters.

Can any Mac-users (or RME) confirm if this can be done?

thanks!
Matthew

Re: Babyface and Google Voice Chat.

Never tried, but it should work on input 1, as long as you have set Babyface as default input device and default playback device in System Preferences / Sound.

Thanks, Jeff. I'll give that a try later on.

In System Prefs/Sound it was set as the default I/O device and I was seeing sound register on the panel's meter. If it only "listens" to input 1, though, that would definitely explain why it didn't work.

...though, come to think of it, it doesn't explain why I wasn't hearing the other party. FWIW, my Chat preferences within Gmail were set to the Babyface.
