Topic: Babyface Breakoutcable one channel broken

Hello,
I hoped that this would not happen.
I'm using Babyface live and have it well cased in a Peli case as well as the cables also there.
So I have my first trouble with the Breakout cable: Line Right Output loses 6 dB. Even in Loopback mode - it's definitely exactly 6 dB, so pin 2 or pin 3 is missing - and the signal is unbalanced.
I was really treating the breakout cable like a baby because I've seen the "patch cable" style and short pigtail. Probably it has to do with the HF magnetic shield so that cables break there? Also the magentic shield is squeezing the cables.
What can you do for me now, RME? And especially not make it happen again?

Are you sure the problem is the breakout cable and not the extension cable?

Yiou contact your local dealer or distributor and will get a new cable in exchange, no problem. The ferro coil I don't like too. Just remove it. It's clipped and can be put on later again.
