hello,

i m using rme hdsp 9652 24bit sound card with yamaha o2r via adat. now i m recording a sound in 44.1khz 24bit.
but at the time of doing mixing i can't get any separation of sound. also can't get the punch and broadness of total stereo sound. is there any settings to get punchy and broad sound? i kept rme word clock as master and o2r slave with bnc cable. impedience of the word clock cable is 75ohms which is perfect.

Try the o2r as master, just via adat. Since the 9652 has no converters it is best to keep the device with the converters as master, both during recording and mixing.

Are you hearing straight-up Mono, or "compromised" stereo?  Is all of your panning correct in TotalMix and on the 02R?
