Topic: Hum on babyface when rode nt1000 is hooked up.

I got some hum noise that is very exstensive when i hook it up to babyface and my mbp.
I turned on the phantom power, and everything should work, but isnt. Cant get no sound from it at all.
I do however get an sm beta58 to send signal an record with, but not the rode.
Is the usb providing to small numbers of power to it, so that i have to hook it up to the outlet or is it a "monday" card that i got a hold of?

Do you get hum when you plug the 58 in? It sounds like you have a broken mic lead. Can you test it or try another cable?

No hum with the 58.
And the same thing with other cables. It works fine on my FF800 for some reason. But on the babyface it doesnt...
