Topic: HSDPe Expresscard MultifaceII Win7 5.1/Surround Configuration

Hi!

I'm working with the newest driver 3.24 and am trying to configure a surround output so that I can watch movies in VLC Player in 5.1
I tried two possibilities, both failed:
1.) Selecting the Output called "Lautsprecher RME Hammerfall DSP" and configurating this one to 5.1 or 7.1 - failed with Error "Das Format wird vom Gerät nicht unterstützt"

2.) Selecting the "ADAT 1" Output and setting the "Standardformat" to 6 Channel - failed with the same Error.

Can anybody help me out?

DD/DTS "Passthrough" still seems to work with 3.24 (with WMP and VLC) - try using that if you happen to be feeding an AVR or other unit with proper DD/DTS surround decoding...
