Topic: how come no ADAT expansion for hdsp series?
Just wondering why there is no expansion card to cover extra adat i/o?
Seems like it would be a obvious choice to go with AIO or 9632.

can multiple hdsp cards be used together? what are the restrictions?
thx
Up to 3 HDSP cards are supported, experimental support for more cards are included in the current Windows driver.
so I could combine AIO and 9652 for example? or AIO and Raydat?
they will be available on same totalmix?
thx
Yes, you can combine these, they will have separate TM interfaces.
ok, so basically for windows users no way to 'combine' drivers for use in cubase? I would have to route from one to the other, with one acting as a main?
thx
The HDSP/HDSPe driver is a unified driver and WILL present all I/O to the DAW Application w/o any cross-patching, etc (aside from Clocking/Syncing the cards together).
As Jeff mentioned, you will still have seperate TotalMix windows for each card. No biggie unless you are doing lots of complicated TotalMix routing...
that's excellent, thanks!
