My Mobo is EVGA X58 SLI3 but i believe its Firewire port might be out of order.

Could you please recommend me both

- one or more "PCI" firewire cards (model, brand)
- one or more "PCIe x8"  firewire cards (model, brand)

which you are 300% sure work perfectly well with the FF400 ?

(My unique "PCI" port is already used by a network card for a NAS but i could try and find a "PCIe x8" or "PCIe x1" for that NAS if only "PCI" cards are safe with the FF400.)

Are their other hardware incompatibilities i should be careful about ?
