Topic: RME mixer not installed with new driver

I am running an 08 mac pro tower with OSX 10.6.8. When I download the latest Fireface UC drivers the Mixer does not install, and it doesn't show up anywhere on my computer. Also upon starting up the unit and trying to use it with the Newest Abelton DAW I get huge crunchy sounds when I try and track. I know these are two different issues but it seems strange they are both happening at once.

The mixer is called TotalMix (not Fireface Mixer) in the latest USB driver, do you see this in Applications? Did you also update firmware to match the driver?

thank you just realized this...whoops. Also when I switched the Sample rate in abelton to 4800 then back to 4410 it synced up properly. Everything is working fine now thank you for the quick reply.
