Topic: HDSP 9632 Word Clock performance affected by adding AEBX-O?

As far as I can tell from the manual, Clock Source should be set to "ADAT In" when the AEBX-O is installed.  Is that correct?

Does this "ADAT In" clock Source perform just as well as the Internal clock?  In other words, is the word clock performance of the HDSP 9632 effected in any way by adding an AEBX-O?

Notice in the screen shot below that the Clock Source also says "Current: Internal".  Is it supposed to be that way?

Also notice that the SyncCheck panel shows "no lock" for the Word Clock.  Should I be concerned about this?

Thanks in advance for any help/explanations!

The AEBX-O (nor I) does not provide clock. And I wonder why you think it does.

Re: HDSP 9632 Word Clock performance affected by adding AEBX-O?

I thought the AEBX-O was linked to the 9632 via an ADAT connection, and I thought this explained why installing it required that the clock source on the 9632 be changed to "ADAT In".  My mistake.  Regardless, can you tell me if the settings on the screen shot above are correct for my set up (HDSP 9632 plus AEBX-O)?  Thanks!

Not relevant for an output AEB, only input.
