Topic: Drivers won't install

Hey there.

I just got a Babyface inside the door, but I have problems with installing the drivers.
The only thing I can install from the following CD is the DIGICheck.

When I go to Babyface folder on the CD, and double-click on the TotalMix FX install-icon, nothing happens, other than it popups in System Tray. I can right-click and choose between 'Workspace Quick Select', 'New TotalMix Window' and 'Exit TotalMix' - but nothing happens here too. I have have connected the Babyface via the USB cable and it's blicking smile So, what am I doing wrong ??

Your help is mostly appreciated.

There is no "TotalMix FX install-icon" and no setup.exe, either. Assuming you are on W7, please read http://www.rme-audio.de/forum/viewtopic.php?id=7348

Thank you Daniel. I have installed it now. Though I can't get any sound in my headphones - (have no hifi atm).
I just have the USB-cable and the headphones plugged in, and have tried some adjustments here and there, I have still no sound.

Do you know what to do ?

Check which channel is assigned as Main (probably phones), then select that channel and pull up faders both in software playback and the Control Room section.

In soundoptions i windows the main channels are 3/4 (as shown on the picture). But in TotalMix channel 1/2 are playing. How do I change that ?

Your ASIO software does not care about the Windows default settings. Change channel assingment in the software control panel.

I just resetted Mix and now it works.

Yes, because you had Listenback assigned (see your screenshot, ADAT1 input). It may be that you used an older driver that causes this setting on some systems during installation. Which version did you install?
