Hi,

I'm wondering; is it possible to use a FF800 (or FF400) via the firewire port of an Apple Thunderbolt Display?

I don't see why not as long as Apple implemented it properly. Basically it's the same as using a FW ExpressCard.

Ok, that's good news. So as soon as someone creates a proper thunderbolt-to-firewire hub that works the same as in the screen, the rme firewire devices can be used even on macbook airs..
